“You who love Jehovah, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.”  Psalms 97:10

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”  John 14:15

There was a time in history where even though God has left a witness (Ro. 1:20-21), in regards to testifying to His presence, the Gospel had yet to have been preached to the ends of the earth (Mark 16:15).  Indeed the Gospel is still being preached to the ends of the world, even in our modern age.  However, apparently the Gospel has to be repreached to much of the world.

In our modern day society, in a country where certainly there were men who preached the Gospel truth, we have reverted back to a society where the basic precepts much be taught once more.

“For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the rudimentary principles of the Words of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.”  Hebrews 5:12

I’ve recently heard a couple of difference pastors who stipulate that the ignorance of the basic Bible truths are not known by the average person.  In fact, this is even amongst those who proclaim to know Christ.  Do not be surprised if you asked the average ‘God-believer’ if they know about the Flood, Noah, David, the early apostles or numerous other topics, that should be well known, and they have no response or have perhaps only vaguely heard of such things.

Just as in the dark parts of the world, those areas where the Gospel has yet to be preached, is ignorance of God’s truth void in regards to the Gospel, but right here in our own cities and towns throughout the United States, we can easily find a void that is comparable to that of an uncontacted tribe in the Amazon jungle.

I had come across an old book that was recommended to me regarding pioneers in the faith.  The book was about a variety of missionaries and what they did in the name of Christ to preach the Gospel to those who had never heard of such a thing.  The details of their struggles from the mid-1800’s was remarkable.  There was one, though I had read a short biography, I decided to get the full copies to do some more research on and that was David Livingstone.

While I have not even come close to finishing the first book, what is presented is typical of the time frame for missionaries amongst tribal people in both Africa and South America, of which I have read a fair amount of literature on.  Certainly if one reads between the lines, the witness that is present is obvious.  In general people will not deny that there is a god or rather another god that they are unaware of, but during such a time would willingly and readily accept God, in terms of acknowledging Him, but oftentimes far from actually repenting and by faith believing into Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, thereby becoming Saved.

Still the manners of heathenism that is described by Livingstone and their accompanying excuses to why they believed it was alright, through the light of God’s Word is quashed.  In one instance there was a leader whom Livingstone talked to who did not, at the time, want to know more of the Book for fear that it would change his heart, as he has seen in another chief’s life.  For this leader had multiple wives and at the moment was unwilling to learn God’s truth, he was unwilling to hear what God said about it.  Essentially rather willing at the moment to live in ignorance with the assumption that it is bliss.

Yet people would gather in large numbers to listen to Livingstone read from the Bible and talk about the things of God.  When they realized what the Bible said about the afterlife, fear struck their hearts.  Many would simply start praying to Jesus, without even the full knowledge of the Gospel, due to the fear that struck them about what this life is really about.

So here we are in 2019, just how does one know Christ as their Savior and not know that they are supposed to hate evil?  Just how does one suppose to name the name of Jesus, declaring that because they have heard that He exists and they believe that, though they never repented, that they know nothing of His character?!

Our societies around the world are reverting backwards.  I dare say that I think we would have a better chance of preaching the true Gospel, the Gospel that was given to all from Jesus Christ, to those who are in the dark places of the world, rather than to the supposedly enlightened western society who dare claim to know God but in their works are abominable!

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unyielding, slanderers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away.”  2nd Timothy 3:1-5

Rather the people who name the name of Christ in this country are many more times likely to debate with a true Believer that the Flood in the Bible is not factual, that God did not create the earth in six literal 24 hour days, that the earth is not young, as the Bible teaches.  In fact they will refuse to debate regarding Salvation and repentance being intertwined.  Supposedly if you simply believe that Christ exists than you are Saved, so they say.

Of course the problem is much deeper rooted than that.  So now America and other western civilizations are turning backwards in our knowledge of the Most High, in regards to exactly what God says in His Word.  Just as the tribes in Africa and South America where taught the knowledge of God by missionaries, same as the tribal families of Europe, we are reverting back to the dark ages and our condition as unconverted nations is becoming abundantly apparent to anyone who still has eyes to see.  For indeed the Gospel did really turn the world upside down.

“But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, These who have turned the world upside down have come here, too; whom Jason has received, and these are all acting contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying there is another king, Jesus.”  Acts 17:6-7

While there are God’s workers whom He has called that are still diligently turning the world upside down for Christ, the world as a whole has pushed back and are reverting back to pagan societies, that although acknowledge God, by no means are following God.  The Bible tell us the future and as we watch this world wax worse and worse (2 Tim. 3:3).

So we see a major increase of violence all across the world.  We see a change from normal human relations to the deviancy of today.  We see a world in which wrong is no longer considered wrong and right is no longer considered right.

“For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is clearly recognized by them, for God has revealed it to them.  For ever since the creation of the world the unseen things of Him are clearly perceived, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they know God, they do not glorify Him as God, nor are thankful, but become vain in their reasonings, and their stupid hearts are darkened.  Professing to be wise, they become foolish, and change the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.  Therefore God also gives them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who change the truth of God into the lie, and fear and serve the created things more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.  For this reason God gives them up to vile passions. For even their women change the natural use for what is contrary to nature.  Likewise also the men, abandoning the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men with men performing what is shameful, and receiving the retribution within themselves, the penalty which is fitting for their error.  And even as they do not like to have God in their full true knowledge, God gives them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with every unrighteousness, sexual perversion, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, depravity; whisperers, defamers, haters of God, insolent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful;  who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do them, but also approve of those who practice them.”  Romans 1:18-32

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be led astray. Neither prostitutes, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,  nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.”  1st Corinthians 6:9-10

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”  Isaiah 5:2

We see a growing intolerance towards views like what is presented here, biblical views, God’s views.  Just how long before social media giants start targeting All Will Stand and ban articles from being posted in the name of tolerance?  For indeed, just as God doesn’t tolerate sin and whether one dies in their sin or they repent knowing the Jesus Christ paid the penalty on the Cross for their sin (Col. 2:14), this is simply a reflection of the growing apostasy that is being experienced worldwide.

Things will get much more violent and much worse than this.  Rather than being banned from social media, fired from a teaching position, having to fight court cases against baking cakes or other sorts of backlash, eventually the true spirit behind the scenes will come to fruition.  Eventually those who hold these viewpoints will be martyred for Christ.

Understandably that will not happen until the Tribulation (“time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7) and those who are truly Saved will not be here during that time (1 Thes. 5:9).  Until the Rapture happens, we as Believers ought to be busy preaching the Gospel to anyone who will listen.

“And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the Word of God and because of the testimony which they held.  And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?  And a white robe was given to each one of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who were about to be killed as they were, was filled up.”  Revelation 6:9-11

Amen!
