What about the unanswered questions about healthcare insurance?

Healthcare is something that is important to most Americans.  The younger generation often will ignore purchasing health insurance, with the assumption that they don’t need it, usually they are correct.  However for many families and individuals throughout America, there is a growing concern regarding the future of the health care system in the United States.  All the time healthcare is in the news, as Americans watch in horror as their elected officials seem to be unable to permanently solve the problem.   Both sides of the political spectrum has opinions on how to solve the crisis, yet there is not enough support on any one side to actually seem to provide a long term solution.  What is the problem?  Namely cost.   The affordable healthcare that was touted years ago has become unaffordable.  In fact the premiums were rising, as well as the deductibles even before Obamacare passed.  Yet no one asked why.  Constantly it was simply a solution presented by political parties in the United States to restructure the health insurance, supposedly in order to keep the cost down and provide health insurance, through mandates, to everyone in the United States.  What happened?  The prices continued to skyrocket, some citizens were left with no health insurance choice -at all- in their health exchanges, as well as masses of people simply didn’t comply with the mandate.  On top of that employers reduced those who were already near poverty to even worse by reducing their hours to 28 or fewer, in order to not have to comply with the employer mandate.  Now the debate rages on in Congress on just...

Psalms Walk-Thru, #01 Intro

We are going to take some time to go through the Book of Psalms, if the Lord doesn’t Rapture (1st Cor. 15:51-52) us out of here first.  While I do not like to necessarily have a favorite book of the Bible, as the whole word of God is profitable for learning (2 Tim. 3:16), Psalms has a special place in my heart, where the Lord has given me some real life applications.  A lot of people wouldn’t look to Psalms for doctrine, but Psalms is in reality part of the Holy Scriptures and full of useful doctrine that correlates with the rest of the Bible (Pr. 30:5).    Take a look at how grim things look for our country, how many more disasters are we going to see?  Already we have had devastating hurricanes, flooding, wildfires & what is next?  As the people of our nation continue to rebel against their Creator, I don’t expect that we will see an end to these types of events (Is. 1:21-23).  Too many problems are on the horizon, political problems, an American debt problem, both for our country and the citizens who also hold too much of a burden of debt, as well as looming threats of war, where in all reality millions of our citizens lives hang in the balance, should such a scenario unfold.  People are so concerned about healthcare, financial ‘fitness’, making ends meet, the things of this world, that they are not even contemplating the things of God (Mt. 6:33)  This is dangerous, for when their life is over, who are they going to stand before?  God Almighty. ...

Paul F. Becker – www.a-voice.org

I received a phone call today about the passing of Paul F. Becker.  Paul Becker, from Spokane, Washington, went Home to be with the Lord, whom he faithfully served for years with the A Voice in the Wilderness ministry.  His website was www.a-voice.org and is truly a testimony of a man who sought to clearly make the paths of the Lord straight for the entire world to read.  God took care of Paul Becker throughout his lifetime and as a dear friend, he will be greatly missed.  Yet for those who know the Lord, truly one day my friend will be seen again.  We live in a dark era, but his website is still a library of God’s truth shining in an otherwise dark world.   2023 Update: A Backup Website Has Been Created To Download A CD Of The Former Website www.a-voice.net.  ...

Atrocities

This is being written as hurricane Irma is churning out in the Atlantic, with hurricane Harvey in people’s minds, the perceived threat as to what will occur is yet unknown.  Historically hurricanes on that path often hit Florida OR turn and go to the North Atlantic, hitting no one.  Yet as this is also being written, smoke continues to fill the skies in Kalispell, Montana on a daily basis.   The Los Angeles area has the La Tuna wildfire, which is the biggest ever recorded in the area.  With Montana’s ‘flash drought’ we continue to get very little rain and still unseasonable warm weather.  Just a little spark and another wildfire will appear somewhere, this with thunderstorms forecast in a few days.  As the flood waters from Houston are drying up, people are starting to speculate that this is either God’s judgment or considering that somehow this is pointing to a major end times event.  Of course these who ponder the later, are in every case I see, those who also purport that there will be no Rapture or it will be at the end of the Tribulation (“time of Jacob’s trouble” Jer. 30:7).    Well I can’t speak on behalf of God and neither can they, unless God has truly given them some insight.  Sure these are interesting times that we live in, but these are times where instead of people looking and presuming that God is going to come in and ‘fix’ all of man’s woes, they should be looking at fixing their hearts before our Creator, before it is too late.  As I watch these things...

What will you do?

The nation awoke last week to a devastating hurricane that literally ended up zeroing in on Houston with huge amounts of rainfalls.  I downloaded a rain map that showed Houston as ground zero for the rain.  Then, the now tropical storm, backed up into the Gulf of Mexico and landed in southeast Texas, dropping 25 more inches of rain in a day, totally flooding cities.   When that happened there were a bunch of headlines on the news, but the one that really caught my eye was how the rain was called punishing and there was a quote from a resident begging God to have it stop raining.  The event was terrible and now people are more cautiously eyeing the other storms that are heading towards the United States.  The amount of rain that was dropped in Houston set a record for rainfall in the contiguous United States, never had that much been recorded out of one event…never.   Who is to blame?  Is it simply chance, after all Houston had those reservoirs for a reason, they had been flooded before, in fact a different storm years ago had dropped just a couple of inches less rain.  Was it God’s judgment?  Some speculate so.  What about utilizing HAARP or other technology to weaponize the storm, to cause President Trump a crisis?  There are those who are pushing this theory also.  Around the same time 1,200 people died in a flood in Asia, but we as Americans simply brush that off.   “You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.  But I...
