Dear Loved One,

“The righteous perishes, and no one lays it to heart, and merciful men are taken away; no one considers that the righteous is taken away from the face of evil.  He shall enter into peace; they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.”  Isaiah 57:1-2

This has to be one of the hardest letters to pen, but my conviction as a Christian, as a follow of Christ, one who has repented and by faith believed into Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I must do so.

I know you don’t want to hear it, I know you don’t want to have anything to do with Jesus, while you might acknowledge God, you only would be willing to acknowledge that He exists, but unwilling to actually yield to Him.  You just don’t want to have to change, you don’t want to repent, you want to live your way.  The problem with that is you were Created, you can’t live your way.

Does man allow his pets to do as they want or do they not train them to use litter boxes, etc.?  Do people allow their children to run their households or do they set rules for them to follow?  Do managers allow the employees to do as they wish, work as they want and create their own rules, or do they enforce rules, set schedules and assign workloads?  So how then is it we as humanity can live as we want and not follow God’s guidebook, the Bible, and not repent and believe the Gospel, that we might be saved?

“Woe to him who strives with the One who formed him, a potsherd among the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to the one who forms it, What are you making? Or your work, He has no hands?”  Isaiah 45:9

…”for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”…  Romans 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Romans 6:23

It’s not too late.  As I pen this letter, it is not too late for you to repent and believe the Gospel.  You too can know that absent from the body is to be Home with the Lord.  You too can experience the riches of Christ, even if for but a short period of time, until you are with the Savior.  Will you die in your sins?  Will you continue to refuse to repent?  Will you not take a moment to consider your ways and consider what the Bible teaches about Salvation?  Will you not realize your lost condition, how you are deserving of eternity in Hell and repent, knowing that without Christ’s death on the Cross, to pay the penalty for your sins, that there would be no hope.

“We are confident, yes, preferring rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.”  2nd Corinthians 5:8

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:19

“Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has established a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has appointed. He has given assurance of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”  Acts 17:30-31

“Thus says Jehovah of Hosts: Set your heart on your ways.”  Haggai 1:7

“Then Jesus said to the twelve, Do you also want to go away?  Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the Words of eternal life.  And we have believed and understood that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”  John 6:67-69

“And as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, without sin, unto salvation.”  Hebrews 9:27-28

“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.  For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man some would even be bold enough to die.  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.  For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.  And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.  Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to every person, because everyone sinned.  For until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not accounted when there is no law.  Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.  But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.  And the gift is not like it was through the one who sinned. For the judgment from one offense was unto condemnation, but the free gift from many offenses is unto justification.  For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who are receiving abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.  Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment was to every person unto condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift is to every person unto justification of life.  For as through one man’s disobedience many were declared sinners, so also through one Man’s obedience many will be declared righteous.  Moreover the Law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness unto eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  Romans 5:6-21

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”  Romans 15:13

Christ died for you, He died on the Cross that you might live.  He paid the penalty for your sins.  He paid the price for your rebellion against God, in full.

“For the love of Christ holds us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto Him who died for them and rose again.”  2nd Corinthians 5:14-15

“For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.”  1st Corinthians 6:20

“Jesus answered them, I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness concerning Me.  But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.  My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.  And I give them eternal life, and they shall never ever perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.  My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one has the power to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.  I and the Father are One.”  John 10:25-30

I beg you, so that you might not be lost forever, so that you might not have to pay for the fruits of your deeds, your sins, that you would accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, He who Created you and waits for you.  There is not much time.  Though by time you are done reading this letter you might never wish to hear from me again.

Eventually all of us will die, but as your body is being lowered into the earth, the gravestone being erected, I will not be able to warn you, it will be too late.  Then for all of the hate that you might have towards me warning you now, you would know why I went through the trouble to try and tell you to seek God before it is too late.  You would understand why!  Please understand it from the aspect of your Creator being your Savior, instead of your just Judge.

“And man shall say, Truly, there is a reward for the righteous; truly, there is a God who judges in the earth.”  Psalms 58:11

What exactly is it that makes you hold back?  Why are you willing to die in your sins?  Do you not believe that God exists?  Do you not believe that God Created the heavens and the earth?  Do you not believe in Heaven?  If you do, then why don’t you believe in Hell, the same Bible that teaches about Heaven, likewise teaches about Hell.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”  Genesis 1:1

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.  And where I go you know, and the way you know.  Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You go, and how can we know the way?  Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.  If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”  John 14:1-7

“Then one said to Him, Lord, are there few who are saved? And He said to them,  Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.  When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us, and He will answer and say to you, I do not know you, where you are from, then you will begin to say, We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.  But He will say, I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.  There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves being thrust outside.”  Luke 13:23-28

Would you rather do those things that are displeasing to Him and live your life for yourself?  Are you really going to ultimately go to Hell simply over material items or the short term pleasures of sin?

“No one is able to serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. It is not possible to serve God and mammon.”  Matthew 6:24

“And when He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.  For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?  Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”  Mark 8:34-37

Maybe you think that you will put it off.  Maybe you halfway believe, but it isn’t right for you at the moment.  What if you don’t live to an old age to change things?  What if the Rapture happens and you are Left Behind?  Do you think that you can simply attend church once in awhile and that saves you?  The Bible is quite clear about Salvation, even if your pastor is not.  Your pastor won’t be there to save you from the Just Judge, your pastor, unless their name is written in the Book of Life, will also be standing before his Creator, condemned.

“Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed; in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”  1st Corinthians 15:51-52

“And the devil, who led them astray, was cast into the Lake of Fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.  And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away. And there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, out of the things which were written in the books.  And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one, according to their works.  And Death and Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death.  And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire.”  Revelation 20:10-15

Man only lives once, you have one chance to get this right.  You can’t fix the mistakes of the past, but God can forgive you.  I beg you to please look towards your Creator and repent of your sins, so that we might one day have a chat in Heaven.

Even so, Amen (Rev. 22:20)!
