Basic Salvation Message<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is important to remember what 2 Corinthians 11:3 reminds us about, \u201csimplicity that is in Christ.\u201d\u00a0 Salvation is not a complicated ordeal, it is simple.\u00a0 Salvation is about the heart and truly repenting and believing unto the Lord Jesus Christ.\u00a0 There are only two choices that a person has, either repent and believe and be with the Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven or be cast into the lake of fire for eternity.\u00a0 Heaven or hell, those are the choices, it is that simple.<\/h3>\n

Why do I need to be Saved?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Man is born into sin.\u00a0 God is holy and therefore cannot have sin in His presence.\u00a0 God created you and gave you a choice.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cThere is none who understands; there is none who seeks after God. They have all gone out of the way; they have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.” \u00a0Romans 3:10-12<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags…” \u00a0Isaiah 64:6 <\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“\u2026just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.” \u00a0Romans 5:12 <\/em><\/h3>\n

Why did God the Father, and Jesus do for me?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

God sent His Son, Jesus to do on the cross for your sins.\u00a0 Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice and His death on the cross paid the price for all of mankind\u2019s sin.\u00a0 The option is available to every soul who would like to receive it.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“…the wages of sin is death, But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”\u00a0 Romans 6:23 <\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”\u00a0 1 John 1:7 <\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“By grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”\u00a0 Ephesians 2:8-9 <\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.”\u00a0 Titus 3:5 <\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly…God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”\u00a0 Romans 5:6,8 <\/em><\/h3>\n

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”\u00a0 John 14:6 <\/em><\/h3>\n

What do I have to do to be Saved?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Repent.\u00a0 Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose on the third day.\u00a0 Believe that Jesus is God\u2019s only begotten Son.\u00a0 It is truly an issue of the heart, not a \u2018sinner\u2019s prayer\u2019.\u00a0 As long as you believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and repent of your sins you are Saved.\u00a0 However you can not just utter some words and not truly mean it in your heart.\u00a0 You must truly repent and truly believe.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.”\u00a0 Acts <\/em>16:31<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0“Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is [exists], and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”\u00a0 Hebrews 11:6 <\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.”\u00a0 Jacob 4:8-10 <\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0“These times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.”\u00a0 Acts <\/em>17:30<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise…but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”\u00a0 2 Peter 3:9 <\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0“I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you…testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks [Gentiles], REPENTANCE toward God and FAITH toward our Lord Jesus Christ.”\u00a0 Acts 20:20-21<\/em><\/h3>\n

“…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”\u00a0 2 Corinthians 6:2 <\/em><\/h3>\n

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life\u201d\u00a0 John <\/em>3:16<\/em><\/h3>\n

Let the Holy Spirit guide you while witnessing to others.<\/h3>\n
