How Christians ought to behave?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There are literally tons of verses discussing how Christians are to behave throughout the old and New Testament.\u00a0 For next week we will be breaking down the difference between holy and righteous and bible verses relating to those two things.\u00a0 So if you didn\u2019t just start jotting down your homework right then you should now.\u00a0 Might as well add on a book summary review while we are at it.<\/h3>\n

Christians are to live a life as pure as you can.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cbecause it is written, Be holy, because I am holy.\u201d\u00a0 1st<\/sup> Peter 1:26<\/em><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Let\u2019s go ahead and take a step by defining holy right now:<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Holy is being set apart, separate from the world.\u00a0 Now we are also to put on the armor of God.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cPut on all the armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.\u201d\u00a0 Ephesians 6:11<\/em><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

God has established guidelines how Christians should behave in Church, in their marriages, raising their children and numerous other things.\u00a0 Christians are supposed to keep their hands clean of sin and not allow the fleshly lust to control them.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cthat he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh in the lusts of men, but in the will of God.\u201d\u00a0 1st<\/sup> Peter 4:2<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cMy little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.\u201d\u00a0 1st<\/sup> John 2:1<\/em><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

For awhile it was a fad to wear WWJD on t-shirts, bracelets and other items.\u00a0 What does the Most High truly expect of us:<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd the fringe shall be, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of Jehovah and do them, and that you not seek after that for which your own heart and eyes go whoring,\u201d\u00a0 Numbers 15:39<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cYou shall walk after Jehovah your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him and cleave unto Him.\u201d\u00a0 Deuteronomy 13:4<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cBut take diligent heed to do the commandment and the Law which Moses the servant of Jehovah has charged you, to love Jehovah your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to cleave unto Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.\u201d\u00a0 Joshua 22:5<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cCast away from you all the transgressions by which you have transgressed, and prepare for yourselves a new heart and a new spirit; for why will you die, O house of <\/em>Israel<\/em>?
\nFor I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies, declares the Lord Jehovah. Therefore turn and live!\u201d\u00a0 Ezekiel 18:31-31<\/em><\/h3>\n

I will end with this verse from the Holy Scriptures that is very relevant to our everyday lives:<\/h3>\n
