No! It isn’t the Bible, it’s the TV Guide.<\/h3>\n

As\u00a0 pages are turned, what will they see?<\/h3>\n

Oh,\u00a0 what\u00a0 does it matter, turn on the TV.<\/h3>\n

Then\u00a0 confusion reigns, they can’t all agree<\/h3>\n

On\u00a0 what they will watch on the old TV.<\/h3>\n

So they open the book in which they confide<\/h3>\n

(Not the Bible, it’s the TV Guide).<\/h3>\n

The\u00a0 Word\u00a0 of God is seldom read-<\/h3>\n

Maybe a verse o’er they fall into bed<\/h3>\n

Exhausted\u00a0 and sleepy and tired as can be,<\/h3>\n

(Not from reading the Bible: from watching TV).<\/h3>\n

So\u00a0 then back to the table, side by side,<\/h3>\n

Are the Holy Bible and the TV Guide.<\/h3>\n

No time for prayer, no time for the Word.<\/h3>\n

The way of salvation is seldom heard.<\/h3>\n

Abiding in Christ so full and free<\/h3>\n

is found in the Bible, not on TV.<\/h3>\n
