\u201cNow it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were pleasing; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.\u00a0 And Jehovah said, My Spirit shall not continually strive with man, for indeed it is in flesh to sin; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.\u00a0 There were giants on the earth in those days. And also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore <\/em>children<\/em> to them, these were the mighty men from antiquity, men of renown.\u00a0 And Jehovah saw that the evil of man was great on the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all day long.\u00a0 And Jehovah regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved to His heart.\u00a0 And Jehovah said, I will obliterate man whom I have created from off the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and flying creatures of the heavens, for I regret having made them.\u00a0 But Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah.\u00a0 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generation. Noah walked with God.\u00a0 And Noah begot three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. \u00a0The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.\u00a0 And God looked upon the earth, and behold it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth.\u00a0 And God said to Noah, The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them along with the earth.\u201d\u00a0 Genesis 6:1-13<\/em><\/h3>\n

The question being answered today is whether or not we are living in times like the days of Noah.\u00a0 The obvious answer is \u2018Yes\u2019 as Shannon blurted out last week.\u00a0 The purpose of this study is took take a more in depth look into what the days of Noah where like and then look at the prophecy Jesus stated in the Gospels then go on from there in a comparison.<\/h3>\n

What things do we see in the Genesis chapter 6 account?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    Men where becoming multiplied. <\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n

    The \u2018sons of God\u2019 took wives for themselves.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n

    Giants on the earth.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n

    The \u2018sons of God\u2019 reproduced through women.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n

    The evil of man was great on the earth.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n

    \u2018every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all day long\u2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n

    \u2018The earth was corrupt before God.\u2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n

    \u2018\u2026and the earth was filled with violence.\u2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n

    \u2018\u2026all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth.\u2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In verse 13 God says that He \u2018will destroy them along with the earth.\u2019<\/h3>\n

     <\/p>\n

    So now we are going to jump ahead to the prophecy from the Gospels.<\/h3>\n

    <\/h3>\n

     <\/p>\n

    \u201cBut as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.\u00a0 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,\u00a0 and did not realize until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.\u201d\u00a0 Matthew 24:37-39<\/em><\/h3>\n

     <\/p>\n

    \u201cAnd as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:\u00a0 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.\u00a0 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.\u201d\u00a0 Luke 17:26-29<\/em><\/h3>\n

     <\/p>\n

    The account recorded in Luke also records alongside the comparison the \u2018days of Lot\u2019.\u00a0 This study is not going to focus on that but keep that in the back of your mind and read about the days of Lot in the Old Testament.<\/h3>\n

     <\/p>\n

    So breaking apart the two accounts of Jesus\u2019s words in the Gospels this is what we have:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      \u2018as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.\u2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n

      They were eating drinking, marrying, until the day that Noah entered into the ark.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n

      They did not realize until the flood came AND took them all away.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n

      The coming of the Son of Man will be like that also.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      First let\u2019s take a look at the \u2018sons of God\u2019 and their interbreeding with women, giants and compare that briefly with what we know currently.\u00a0 We have talked about this recently in depth so I will just simply refresh your memory here that indeed science is playing with not only manipulating the genetics of plants but also animals.\u00a0 They have created animals and human hybrids and have talked about inserting a human brain into a mouse or giving another animal human feet.\u00a0 These creatures that man create is reminiscent of the day of Noah where our mythology that we have read about is indeed not that far fetched.\u00a0 These creations of man can not be Saved.\u00a0 What about giants?<\/h3>\n

       <\/p>\n

      I have yet to come across whether or not giants have been created but can only speculate that mythological type creatures have most likely been created in labs run by governments around the world.\u00a0 Nearly all of the information that comes out regarding these sorts of things is in the public science domain and not from top secret government projects.\u00a0 We know that the government science is decades ahead of the public science so thus should be able to conclude that despite the lack of evidence of giants in today\u2019s society the government has likely created them under the public radar.<\/h3>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Next we will look into \u2018every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was evil all day long\u2019 and \u2018\u2026the earth was filled with violence.\u2019\u00a0 The recent American Music Awards ceremony had Adam Lambert playing one of his songs live with a very satanic, openly perverse and homosexual contact.\u00a0 This was on televisions throughout the US and saw by the young and old.\u00a0 Recently I read that in the past 4 years the amount of profanity on television has increased 100 fold.\u00a0 Things are getting bad and getting bad quickly.\u00a0 In Michigan we hold some of the most dangerous cities in the US.\u00a0 We now here frequently about mass killings being committed with the most recent one in Florida where a man shot his wife and three children dead on Thanksgiving.\u00a0 Our cities are filled with violence as is most of the world.\u00a0 The movies and television shows being put out reflect that men have evil in their hearts and dwell on that all day long.\u00a0 We can\u2019t just blame Hollywood because the American people watching such things is what keep them producing them.\u00a0 Our society morals are in the toilet, families are destroyed and the true God is rarely to be found in society.<\/h3>\n

       <\/p>\n

      The fact that men did not realize until the flood came AND took them away is surely reminiscent of the days we live in.\u00a0 Here we have a show called \u2018V\u2019 that literally is barely masking the reality of what is going on with some fictional plot and no one seems to quite get that.\u00a0 The warnings of those who are watchmen go unabated and men continue on down the sewer of lies, believing the lies and propagating those same lies.\u00a0 Surely they will believe whatever lie the governments put out to explain the disappearance of Christians from the earth at the start of the tribulation.\u00a0 They have been prepped for it unaware, they have enjoyed the evil and will continue to believe the lies.<\/h3>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Yes, the days of today are certainly like the days of Noah.\u00a0 We are in the last days, the last times and soon Jesus will come for us.\u00a0 Until then we must follow Jesus.<\/h3>\n

       <\/p>\n

      \u201cThus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.\u201d\u00a0 Genesis 6:22<\/em><\/h3>\n

       <\/p>\n

      We must do all that God has commanded us to do.\u00a0 We must live holy and righteous lives loving the Most High with all of our heart, soul and body, serving His Son Jesus Christ until our time to exit these bodies and dwell with Him in Heaven has come.<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
