Memorial Day<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

This Memorial Day I think it would be fitting to remember an America that once at least adherred to much of God’s laws.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America where there was no debate over sodomite marriage.\u00a0 Who would have dared in 1950 to promote from coast to coast marriage outside of God’s purpose.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America where public school students were not subjected to having the opposite sex use their locker rooms and rest rooms.\u00a0 An America where boys were boys and girls were girls, not an America where a child is taught at a young age to decide what sex they are, not based on actual gender but a supposed preference.\u00a0 An America where liberals wouldn’t critize parents for putting newborns in blue or pink based off of their sex.\u00a0 Shame on California and Colorado (and where ever else this goes on).<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America where our public schools have ‘centering rooms’, which are really padded rooms with no windows to lock children in ALL day long, some of which have the air conditioning on to make it cold.\u00a0 In these rooms a teacher will wear a jacket as the youngster is shivering with their arms in their shirt, mocking them.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America where businesses where closed on Sundays.\u00a0 At least the people had respect to set aside one day to their Creator, whether or not they followed Him, they at least acknowledged the One whom they will give an account to.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America where people didn’t decide to riot for something to do or gangs of youth didn’t use social media to plot their next mass theft of a local market, retail store or an entire block of unsuspecting people.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America where our younger people didn’t turn to meth and other drugs because they are bored and looking for something to do.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America where women (and men) dressed modestly and didn’t walk around like harlots, as if there was nothing wrong with the way they dressed and the attention they garnered.\u00a0 Do they even know that the modest woman nowadays is the one who gets the attention?<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America where people where not completely filled with entertainment and electronic gadgets.\u00a0 A country where people had time to consider God and His Way, instead of endless amounts of nonsense text messages and tweets to respond to.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America where a man could walk down the street carrying a holstered handgun on his hip, without the stares and gwaks of people wishing it was fully illegal.\u00a0 This same people who feel threatened due to a holstered gun are violent in mind and can not get enough violence in their music, television and movies.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America where children are taught the fundamentals of reasoning (math, reading, writing, true science) not an America where children are taught thought patterns, self-esteem, social and economic dependence, essentially to be slaves.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America where families gathered around the dinner table and still remembered that it was God who provided.\u00a0 Not an America where people get their monthly government stipend and are now throwing out the kitchen table to replace it with entertainment and couches, with no social interaction of even their own kin.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

An America that new what was right and wrong according to God’s morals as laid out in His Word.\u00a0 Not those who know try to rationalize or otherwise continue to erase the lines of God’s absolutes.\u00a0 At least those who did wrong back in the day knew they were doing wrong and would admit to being wrong, not necessarily changing.\u00a0 Nowadays our jails and prisons are full of people who claim unfair justice for having broken laws that should require punishment.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

How long will this country go on this way and how much of God’s judgment will man endure before they recall the One who is in control?\u00a0 California has the worst drought in 1200 years, Texas and Oklahoma had been praying for rain six months ago and now they are praying that it will go away as floods send houses down what was once a creek and many towns are under water.\u00a0 A bad winter in the Northeast, fire weather in the Southwest and northern California, tornados tearing up cities here and there.\u00a0 Yet even amongst this we still see God’s mercy, few die in these tragedies.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

How long before we hear?<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Yet you have forsaken Me and served other gods.\u00a0 Therefore I will deliver you no more.\u00a0 Go and cry out to the gods which you have chosen; let them deliver you in your time of distress.”\u00a0 Judges 10:13-14<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

I ponder, I see, I wonder about these ‘zombies’.\u00a0 Are these those who God has given over to a reporbate mind?\u00a0 (Romans 1)\u00a0 How many I see whose lives are so shattered, yet when you converse with them, often you will find they had went to some sort of church at some point in their live, in other words they have heard God’s Word, which does not return void.\u00a0 They have made their decision.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

These ’empty’ people who walk about, how much given over they are to the world?\u00a0 I dare say overcome.\u00a0 Could it be the punishment for their sin is being exacted in their life right now by being entrapped in their sin and no longer able to consider the things of God?<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

How about an America who once believed God’s Word?\u00a0 America was never Christian, yet America did follow much of God’s law 50, even 30 years ago.\u00a0 In fact in my lifetime I would dare say that since the onset of the internet society has finally taken the final plunge.\u00a0 This isn’t just an American problem, it is quickly becoming a worldwide problem.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

For those who can still hear, all I can think to say to them is:<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”\u00a0 2nd Corinthians 6:2b<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Lord will surely come back and all will be fulfilled!\u00a0 Certainly for those who are out there, NOW is the time.\u00a0 There should be no more fence sitting.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”\u00a0 Revelation of Jesus Christ 22:11<\/h3>\n
