The Night is Far Spent<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we <\/em>first<\/em> believed.\u00a0 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.\u00a0 Let us walk decently, as in the day, not in carousings and drunkenness, not in cohabitation and licentiousness, not in strife and envy.\u00a0 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”\u00a0 Romans 13:11-14<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

There will be a time, a moment, in this world when the day is at hand and the night is over.\u00a0 That time is when Jesus comes to receive us Believers to Himself and the world enters the “time of Jacob’s trouble<\/em>.”\u00a0 (Jer. 30:7<\/em>)<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

For those who are not Saved, not born-again, not in Christ, it is a time of judgment that the world will face.\u00a0 For those of us who are Believers, “…the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a <\/em>shouted<\/em> command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.\u00a0 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together <\/em>at the same time<\/em> with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”\u00a0 1st Thessalonians 4:16b-17<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

As it stands at this very moment, as each individual reads this, understand what has been done in your past is what has been done, there is no undoing anything.\u00a0 For those who are Believers there may be many regrets about what could have been done for God, where one should be in terms of growing in the knowledge of Him through His Word.\u00a0 Where some might be able to be ‘scholars’ they are yet just taking solid food, or even milk.\u00a0 For some perhaps they could rattle off the things that they should’ve done for Christ, how they could’ve lived differently, regrets, sorrow and guilt.\u00a0 For those who are unsaved, the matter is different.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Not only could there be personal regrets from their choices in life, but perhaps a long time ago they heard a pastor preach a sermon, believed, but just refused to yield their life to Christ.\u00a0 Perhaps they simply know that they need to seek God, that they must find the Way, but they just continuously put it off.\u00a0 Well for both parties the consequences are certainly different, but the solution is the same.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Are you alive now, are you willing to straighten up and go where He leads, to do what He wants, to yield and repent from those things that you know are not pleasing to God.\u00a0 If you are not yet Saved, are you willing to truly put aside whatever trappings you might find your self in and seek God.\u00a0 Are you willing to realize that it is as if you are dying at the very moment, as if your home is on fire, as if you car is sliding off a cliff, you must acknowledge Jesus Christ, believing into Him and repent of your sins!\u00a0 At some point it will be too late, that time could be now, you never know.\u00a0 You must realize that without God you are in the middle of a full fledge emergency and Jesus Christ stands at the Door, willing to help you, willing to breath life into you and rescue you, you are the one resisting.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Would a dying man resist the ambulance as he is nearly dead from an automobile accident?\u00a0 Would someone in a house that is burning not trying to escape out a window?\u00a0 Will not a sinner come to Jesus Christ when their soul is headed straight to Hell and He is the only One who can Save them?<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

As for Believers, is there not still today?\u00a0 Has He said to stop working, have you been told to ‘never mind’ with those ‘sin’ issues in your life?\u00a0 The night might be far spent and the day at hand, but it really is time to awake up out of sleep.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wake up!\u00a0 Do what your supposed to do.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold or hot.\u00a0 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”\u00a0 Revelation 3:15-16<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“Then Jesus said to them again, Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.”\u00a0 John 10:7<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.\u00a0 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”\u00a0 Revelation 3:19-20<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“For He says: In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”\u00a0 2nd Corinthians 6:2<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.”\u00a0 Jeremiah 8:20<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, out of the things which were written in the books.\u00a0 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one, according to their works.\u00a0 And Death and Hades were cast into the <\/em>Lake<\/em> of <\/em>Fire<\/em>. This is the second death.\u00a0 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the <\/em>Lake<\/em> of <\/em>Fire<\/em>.”\u00a0 Revelation 20:12-15<\/em><\/h3>\n

“There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end of it is the ways of death.”\u00a0 Proverbs 16:25<\/em><\/h3>\n
