Save Our Planet<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

“For then there will be great affliction, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.\u00a0 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be kept safe alive; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”\u00a0 Matthew 24:21-22<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men came to be on the earth.\u00a0 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And <\/em>Babylon<\/em> the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the anger of His wrath.\u00a0 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.\u00a0 And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. And men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because the plague is exceedingly great.”\u00a0 Revelation 16:18-21<\/em><\/h3>\n

Recently my family and I took a road trip to Calgary, Canada.\u00a0 The trip was brief, only one night, but quite productive.\u00a0 From the Flathead Valley in Montana, we traveled about five and a half hours north to Calgary, finding accommodations.\u00a0 There we managed to squeeze in a hefty tour of downtown Calgary, a trip up the Calgary Tower, as well as a trip to the zoo.\u00a0\u00a0 Heading north into Canada from the Eureka, Montana border crossing, we noted a much different type of environmental conscience of Canada, verses Montana.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

By no means would I consider myself to be someone who is working hard to preserve the environment.\u00a0 On one hand I realize that a lot of the green type mechanisms of laws are indeed a regulation against free societies, but I also know that God has given us the land to use the resources as we desire.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the flying creatures of the heavens, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”\u00a0 Genesis 1:28<\/em><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Now this doesn’t preclude that man should purposely pollute and destroy the earth.\u00a0 If we need the wood from the forests, why not plant more trees when they are taken?\u00a0 If we gather the fish from the seas, why not have fish hatcheries replenishing the fish for other generations to partake of?\u00a0 If we have trash service, why not use that rather than tossing it on the side of the road?\u00a0 If there are proper ways of disposing of oil and chemicals, shouldn’t that be done?\u00a0 Same with batteries.\u00a0 If society provides recycling, verses filling up unsightly landfills, then why not?\u00a0 However, with the last I will say that sending the plastic over to China to have families run small ‘factories’ is quite ridiculous!<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

The point is God’s Creation was entrusted with man.\u00a0 We are allowed to utilize the resources of the earth.\u00a0 We shouldn’t purposely destroy it, we shouldn’t purposely make it a trash heap, dump trash into the oceans, put nuclear reactors in the sea or pour oil in the jungles.\u00a0 Where we run into a problem is that man doesn’t believe God, they don’t believe in Creation, they don’t believe what the Holy Scriptures have clearly proclaimed.\u00a0 So they promote that we should save our planet, not under the guise of being environmentally responsible, but under the assumption that this earth is going to last and last and last.\u00a0 They assume that the earth was not created for a finite period, but rather out of the lies of a Big Bang Theory that we came forth from the microbes of the pond, through evolution they believe we came forth and therefore that mindset is quite contrary to God.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

“For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is clearly recognized by them, for God has revealed it to them. \u00a0For ever since the creation of the world the unseen things of Him are clearly perceived, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they know God, they do not glorify Him as God, nor are thankful, but become vain in their reasonings, and their stupid hearts are darkened. \u00a0Professing to be wise, they become foolish, and change the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. \u00a0Therefore God also gives them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who change the truth of God into the lie, and fear and serve the created things more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.”\u00a0 Revelation 1:18-25<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nonetheless Canada has conveniently setup a system to ease recycling everywhere from restaurants to rural roadside pullovers.\u00a0 Really there is no excuse to not toss the recyclable in the proper container.\u00a0 The amount of environmental concern, as well as the attempts to make their country a cleaner and more responsible society is quite remarkable, even if the overall intentions are misguided.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

The underlying root of the problem is with the guise to save our planet.\u00a0 According to God’s Word, we as Believers, those who have truly repented and by faith believed into Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, understand the future, according to the Bible, regarding mankind and our planet.\u00a0 God also knew beforehand and sent His Son to save our planet from the curse of sin.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“And so we also have a more sure Word of prophecy, which you do well to heed as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that not any of the prophecies of Scripture came into being from personal exposition, for prophecy was not formerly brought forth by man’s choice, but holy men of God spoke as they were propelled along by the Holy Spirit.”\u00a0 2nd Peter 1:19-21<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”\u00a0 Genesis 3:15<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing into Him should not perish but have eternal life.\u00a0 For God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.\u00a0 The one believing into Him is not judged; but the one not believing is judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.\u00a0 And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.\u00a0 For everyone practicing evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.\u00a0 But the one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been worked in God.”\u00a0 John 3:16-21<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

So why be so misfocused as a society?\u00a0 Do we not clearly understand that the time will come when the Rapture will happen, those of us who are Saved will go to be with Christ and the world will enter the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7)<\/em>?\u00a0 Do we not know clearly what the Bible teaches that will happen during that time period, how horrific it will be, how all of the environmental concerns that societies have will be seen as silly and invalid when compared to the mass destruction that will take place on a worldwide scale?<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“For the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shouted command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.\u00a0 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together at the same time with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”\u00a0 1st Thessalonians 4:16-17<\/em><\/h3>\n

Riding the CTrain in Calgary was very convenient.\u00a0 While the intention was to stay in downtown Calgary, for close proximity to everything, we found a hotel that was across the street from a train station.\u00a0 Surprisingly this would also prove to provide a lesson on our American values and quite honestly the horrific differences in our major cities in the United States, verses Canada.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

As we approached the train station, we were surprised by the lack of any employee from Calgary transit.\u00a0 There were no police, no turnstiles, nothing.\u00a0 Rather there was an automated machine where tickets could be purchased to ride the train.\u00a0 We all purchased a day pass ticket and wondered who would verify this ticket.\u00a0 As we were pondering how this worked, suddenly a train pulled up.\u00a0 We boarded and took a seat, heading into downtown Calgary.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the train there was no way to verify that we had bought a ticket, nothing.\u00a0 At that point I began to read the ticket and noted that there was no bar code or magnetic strip to validate it.\u00a0 Reading the ticket, we learned that if someone were to ask, you would have to show them the ticket or else you would be hit with a fine.\u00a0 As an American, my mind was boggled how Canada could have an honor system for such a transit system, that would never work in the United States.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

We have traveled quite extensively throughout the United States.\u00a0 We have lived in many major metropolitan areas and also visited many major cities south of the United States border, I’ll leave the details at that.\u00a0 South of the border the same disease seems to prevail that is found throughout major cities like Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Los Angeles and numerous other places.\u00a0 In these cities, just like Mexico City, there is a sense of realistic danger for those who wander past the protection of the masses in heavily populated areas of major cities, where the business men and women go about their daily lives, amongst the tourists seeing the sights.\u00a0 Growing up in northern Michigan, we all knew too well the dangers of going to Detroit and keeping one’s guard up, being vigilant.\u00a0 Now here in Canada, there appeared to be a different way of life, a different type of culture, one, where despite it being one of Canada’s biggest metropolitan areas, has more of a feel, in regards to safety, as a small ‘big’ city in the United States.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

As we walked and walked around downtown Calgary, the feeling was notably different than any metro area in the United States.\u00a0 Sure they had their share of homeless people on the sidewalks, but nothing in comparison to the percentages of their American counterparts; we also have the same problems here in Kalispell, Montana.\u00a0 While I have heard about Europe and their cities compared to the United States, seeing is believing.\u00a0 We unfortunately have a very violent culture, one where murder, robberies, kidnappings and rapes abound.\u00a0 Yet during the same time period, that of the Tribulation, even cities where crime is low in comparison to other places in the world will be full of violence.\u00a0 There will be no safe neighborhoods left, particularly to those who refuse to accept the mark of the Beast or worship the image.<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.\u00a0 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to do homage to the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. \u00a0And he performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven onto the earth in the sight of men.\u00a0 And he leads astray those who dwell on the earth by means of those signs which he was granted to do in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.\u00a0 And it was given to him to give spirit to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not do homage to the image of the beast to be killed.\u00a0 And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, so that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.\u00a0 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.”\u00a0 Revelation 13:11-18<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the Word of God and because of the testimony which they held.\u00a0 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?\u00a0 And a white robe was given to each one of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who were about to be killed as they were, was filled up.”\u00a0 Revelation 6:9-11<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them; and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not done homage to the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”\u00a0 Revelation 20:4<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?\u00a0 And I said to him, Sir, you know. So he said to me, These are the ones coming out of great affliction, and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.\u00a0 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.\u00a0 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not fall on them, nor any burning heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”\u00a0 Revelation 7:13-17<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“And I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the eternal gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth; to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people; saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; also, do homage to Him who made the heavens and the earth, the sea and springs of water.\u00a0 And another angel followed, saying, <\/em>Babylon<\/em> is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual perversion.\u00a0 And a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If anyone does homage to the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His anger. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb.\u00a0 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who do homage to the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.\u00a0 Here is the perseverance of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.\u00a0 And I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow with them.”\u00a0 Revelation 14:6-13<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

During that time, those who choose to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior will be martyred.\u00a0 Their fellow citizens will turn them into the authorities and the prize of those in Christ, will be being ultimately in Heaven with their Creator.\u00a0 Yet during this same timeframe things are going to occur around the world, great problems, great catastrophic events, God’s Judgment upon a world that decided to save our planet, rather than believe Him and His Son, who ultimately is the solution to the world’s true problem…sin.<\/h3>\n

“Behold, Jehovah empties the earth and makes it bare, and distorts its face, and scatters its inhabitants.\u00a0 And as it is with the people, so it shall be with the priest; as with the servant, so with the master; as with the maid, so it is with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the creditor, so with the debtor.\u00a0 The land shall be completely emptied, and utterly plundered; for Jehovah has spoken this Word.\u00a0 The earth mourns and fades away; the world droops and fades away; the haughty people of the earth grow feeble.\u00a0 The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, and have broken the perpetual covenant.\u00a0 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are held guilty; therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.\u00a0 The new wine mourns, the vine droops, all the merry-hearted sigh.\u00a0 The mirth of the tambourines ceases; the tumult of the jubilant ends; the joy of the harp ceases.\u00a0 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.\u00a0 The city of emptiness is broken down; every house is shut up so that no one may come in.\u00a0 There is a cry for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land has gone.\u00a0 Desolation is left in the city, and the gate is battered and destroyed.\u00a0 For so it is in the midst of the land among the people. It shall be like the shaking of an olive tree, and as gleanings of grapes when the vintage has been finished.\u00a0 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of Jehovah, they shall cry aloud from the sea.\u00a0 Therefore glorify Jehovah in the light of the fire, the name of the Lord Jehovah of <\/em>Israel<\/em> from the seashores.\u00a0 From the ends of the earth we have heard songs, glory to the righteous. But I said, Leanness to me! Leanness to me! Woe to me! Deceivers deceive, even with treachery. Deceivers deceive!\u00a0 Terror and the pit and the snare are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth.\u00a0 And it shall be that he who flees from the sound of terror shall fall into the pit. And he who comes up out of the midst of the pit shall be caught in the snare. For the windows from on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth quake.\u00a0 The earth has been badly broken! The earth is split open and cracked through! The earth has shaken greatly and is tottering!\u00a0 Like a drunkard the earth is staggering back and forth! And it sways to and fro like a hut! Its transgressions have been heavy upon it; and it shall fall and not rise again.\u00a0 And it shall come to pass in that day that Jehovah will punish the host of the haughty ones on high; and on earth, the kings of the earth.\u00a0 And they shall be gathered, as prisoners are gathered in a dungeon. And they shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days they shall be visited.\u00a0 Then the moon shall be abashed, and the sun shall be ashamed, when Jehovah of Hosts shall reign on <\/em>Mount<\/em> Zion<\/em>, in <\/em>Jerusalem<\/em>, and before His elders, in splendor.”\u00a0 Isaiah 24<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Riding the CTrain in Calgary, an experience that is much safer and different than riding the ‘L’ in Chicago, I couldn’t help but to consider that one day likely the train will cease.\u00a0 The riders enjoying a quick and efficient ride from the residential neighborhoods will likely find train tunnels that have failed.\u00a0 Then again during that same time period, if one where to imagine the horror that comes upon the earth to a people who refuse to repent before their Creator, who even despite the Judgments still wishes that they will be Saved.\u00a0 Perhaps at that time, those who still remain in Calgary would be best off heading to the Rocky Mountains seen in the distance, rather than heading to what is left in the downtown area!<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not do homage to demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which are not able to see nor hear nor walk.\u00a0 And they did not repent of their murders nor their sorceries nor their sexual perversions nor their thefts.”\u00a0 Revelation 9:20-21<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness, but is longsuffering toward us, not purposing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.\u00a0 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with intense burning; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.\u00a0 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, of what sort ought you to be in holy behavior and godliness, looking for and earnestly hastening unto the coming of the Day of God, through which the heavens will be dissolved, being set on fire, and the elements will melt with intense burning?\u00a0 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.”\u00a0 2nd Peter 3:9-13<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Many will be Saved during that time period, though they will become martyrs to a society that has become fully rebellious towards God, where they have setup the Antichrist as their leader, who eventually attempts to make war against God.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“I, Daniel, was distressed in my spirit within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.\u00a0 And I came near one of those who stood by and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made me know the interpretation of the things.\u00a0 These great beasts which are four, are four kings which shall rise up out of the earth.\u00a0 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.\u00a0 Then I wanted to know the truth of the fourth beast, which was different from all of the others, very frightening, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze; which devoured and broke in pieces, and trampled what was left with its feet, also of the ten horns that were on its head, and the other which came up, and before whom three fell, even that horn that had eyes, and a mouth speaking great things, whose appearance was greater than his fellows.\u00a0 I was watching, and the same horn made war with the saints and prevailed against them, until the Ancient of Days came. And judgment was given to the saints of the Most High, and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.\u00a0 And he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall trample it down and break it in pieces.\u00a0 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings; they shall rise, and another shall rise after them. And he shall be different from the first, and he shall abase three kings.\u00a0 And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall continually harass the saints of the Most High. And he shall intend to change times and law. And they shall be given into his hand for a period of a time and times and one half time.\u00a0 But the court shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy until the end.\u00a0 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heavens shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.\u00a0 Thus far is the end of the matter. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts terrified me much, and my countenance changed in me. But I kept the matter in my heart.”\u00a0 Daniel 7:15-28<\/em><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is unveiled, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is honored, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, declaring of himself that he is God.”\u00a0 2nd Thessalonians 2:3-4<\/em><\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

While I was downtown Calgary there was some sort of Christian mission setup feeding the homeless in a park.\u00a0 They had a large sign proclaiming to all to repent and accept Jesus.\u00a0 Quite true, yet as I looked at the men whose sins where apparent, I thought about this some more.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later.”\u00a0 1st Timothy 5:24<\/em><\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

As we were eating in a packed out restaurant in downtown Calgary, looking around I pondered at the people who were enjoying their meals.\u00a0 A compulsory glance revealed that the majority of these people were better off.\u00a0 They were well-dressed, seemingly not caring about the cost of their meals and alcoholic beverages that they were drinking.\u00a0 The music blared outside as people were swing dancing in the street, the heart of which was the Calgary Stampede and the visitors in the city for this major event.\u00a0 The vendors were on the streets selling their wares and (no pun intended) people seemed to be unaware of the danger closing in on them, that one day the Tribulation that will begin, immediately after the Rapture.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dancing, drinking, looking their best, people were happily enjoying their evening.\u00a0 Walking past the desolate and broken of society, those sitting underneath the bridges, those on the sidewalks, the crazies with their odd signs walking around, the apparent addiction to drugs and alcohol, those of whom most would consider a lost cause.\u00a0 Yet how quick some people would be to point out the sins of these people, the gutterness of it all.\u00a0 Why do those who point out the apparent not look at themselves, why do they not realize that indeed Jesus Christ came to save our planet?!<\/h3>\n

Just as those who are broken and destitute, in need of some serious help, they too, while enjoying the delicacies of life, need to realize they are lost, just the same.\u00a0 Without repenting and by faith believing into Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, of what little difference would it make if their lives were movie-perfect and they had the fullness of it, whatever that might mean?\u00a0 When they stand before the Great White Throne and are Judged by their Creator, they will be cast into the Lake of Fire for all eternity.\u00a0 There are no second chances after this life is gone, neither for the unfortunate ones, nor the fortunate ones.\u00a0 The end is the same.<\/h3>\n

“And the devil, who led them astray, was cast into the <\/em>Lake<\/em> of <\/em>Fire<\/em> and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.\u00a0 And I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heavens fled away. And there was found no place for them.\u00a0 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God. And books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, out of the things which were written in the books.\u00a0 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one, according to their works.\u00a0 And Death and Hades were cast into the <\/em>Lake<\/em> of <\/em>Fire<\/em>. “I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all.\u00a0 For man also does not know his time; as the fish that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly upon them.”\u00a0 Ecclesiastes 9:11-12<\/em><\/h3>\n

Perhaps, if Canadian law allows it, I could have held a sign warning those in the affluent part of town to repent and seek Jesus.\u00a0 Maybe I could have asked the Christian mission if I could borrow their sign for a few minutes and preached on the street corner, while holding it.\u00a0 Could you imagine the thoughts there?; asking to borrow a sign that tells of the necessity to repent for those average middle class people?\u00a0 Certainly some eye brows would be raised, perhaps I would be redirected back to where the unfortunate ones hang out?\u00a0 Then again perhaps those who are deemed unfortunate, destitute, addicted, crazy, simply bums, would be more adamant to hear the Gospel message, repent and believe?<\/h3>\n

“But what does it say? The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the Word of Faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.\u00a0 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.\u00a0 For the Scripture says, Everyone believing on Him will not be put to shame.\u00a0 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich toward all who call upon Him.\u00a0 For everyone, whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.\u00a0 How then shall they call on Him into whom they do not believe? And how shall they believe Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without preaching?\u00a0 And how shall they preach if they are not sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those preaching the gospel of peace, bringing glad tidings of good things.\u00a0 But they have not all obeyed the gospel, for Isaiah says, Lord, who believes our report? \u00a0So then faith is of hearing, and hearing through the Word of God.”\u00a0 Romans 10:8-17<\/em><\/h3>\n

For they often know there is a God, perhaps there is more hope for them, than those who live at ease?\u00a0 Pondering these things my family and I continued to walk around, exploring the sites of this great Canadian city, now realizing that large differences compared to American cities.\u00a0 Yet even in a great place such as Calgary, of which I am sure has its issues, that Calgary Tower won’t stand a chance when the great earthquake hits.\u00a0 Unfortunately downtown Calgary will look more like Ground Zero than it currently does, during that time.<\/h3>\n

Even though Canada might have much less violent crime than the United States and Latin American countries, truth be told they too defy their Creator.\u00a0 They too allow gay marriage, the first country outside of Europe, they have numerous transgender rights, including criminalization for harassment, they are trying to legalize prostitution and recently have allowed legal marijuana, of which we smelt it on more than on occasion walking around.\u00a0 These things clearly go against God’s Word and despite the badboy attitude of Americans, where our cities are literally full of violence, they too defy God with their culture.\u00a0 While they might be much less violent than their American counterparts, they are just as vocal, in some cases ahead of American liberalism, which is contrary to our Creator.<\/h3>\n

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the <\/em>kingdom<\/em> of <\/em>God<\/em>? Do not be led astray. Neither prostitutes, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor sodomites,\u00a0 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the <\/em>kingdom<\/em> of <\/em>God<\/em>.\u00a0 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”\u00a0 1st Corinthians 6:9-11<\/em><\/h3>\n

One day it won’t just be Calgary that will see the Judgments from a just Creator against their country, but it will be the whole world.\u00a0 Imagine the chaos that unfolds when the Chicago Skyway comes down!\u00a0 Imagine the horror to the tourism in Orlando when Disney is a wreck!\u00a0 Look what happened in Mexico City not too long ago with an earthquake, imagine the really big one, the one of God’s Judgment against a world!\u00a0 With all of the emphasis on people trying to save our planet, one really wonders just how misguided those words are!\u00a0 Who, besides Jesus Christ, will Save from the wrath of Him, when it comes?!\u00a0 No one!<\/h3>\n
