Nearly every day while reading the news I spot an article headline that depicts some sort of ‘evolutionary’ evidence portrayed to the reader as fact. The most recent headline that I spotted was that “humans and neanderthals had breed as recently as 50,000 years ago”. I quickly scuff off such nonsense, continuing to scan the headlines for an article that perks my interest.
The problem is that these sorts of articles are written for those who are uneducated in the Truth of God’s Word. The average person will view the headline or read the article and thus have one more excuse not to believe God’s Word, one more reason to not consider their Salvation, one more thought as to why they can continue on as they are.
A long time ago in Sunday school I listened as the teacher used an argument that evolution made about as much sense as a chair appearing out of nowhere in the room. A ridiculous argument you say? Have you ever checked into the evidence that the evolutionist have? I assure you if you do some digging, you will find that a chair appearing in a room on its own would take less faith to believe in then the assumptions that evolutionists and our supposed scientific community makes.
I’m sure many readers would consider me an unscientific ignorant person, who believe in fairy-tales and old out-dated religious views, but I ask that you bear with me for yet another moment. I will wholly admit that I am not very scientific, I have not studied with the scholars at universities, I scoffed at my high school science books and I have not taken and read endless amounts of supposed documentation against Creation.
“For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who are believing.” 1st Corinthians 1:21
Rather I believe God and His Word to humanity, I believe that God Created the heavens and the earth, I believe that God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die on the Cross for my sins that I might through Christ be rectified before Him. I believe that God will judge the world and believe that all will stand before the Almighty. I believe that God will open the Book of Life and whoever’s name is not written in that Book will be cast into Hell. I believe that those of us who are Christians will endure until it is our time to go Home to be with our Savior. I believe God.
The arguments against many of the evolutionist’s foundational hypothesis could fill the volumes of many books. For those who are curious I recommend David Cloud’s, Seeing the Non-Existent book on such a topic. That book is the best I have ever read, using basic logic and going over the now covered-up and seldom mentioned evolutionary arguments that have been long ago debunked. Charles Darwin did not know about DNA/RNA when he came up with his argument against God. Nor until recently did any scientist realize just how non-simple a human cell really is.
The evidence is all around us, I see evidence of God’s Creation on a daily basis. Something as simple as an box elder and its uncanny behavior is enough to prove to me that God’s Word is true.
“Let it not be! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: That You may be found just in Your words, and may win the case when You are judged.” Romans 3:4
I look at the mountains and see His hand, I look at the stars and see His Almighty work. The communion between the land and His Creation speak volumes. A blade of grass tells of His wonders, a dragonfly shows His creativity and then there are us, men Created in the image of God.
Will those who attend church on a regular basis argue that there is a God and pretend to worship Him, yet refuse to believe Him? It simply doesn’t make sense. Consider to understand that many of those who oppose Him are in the scientific world for just that purpose. Understand that many of the leading scientists are contrary to Him. Look around and wake up, the evidence is all around us.
