“For He says: In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2nd Corinthians 6:2 I have just a couple of pounds that I have put on during this South Dakotan winter, nothing too big of a deal, but I have been meaning to take care of it, suffer a bit, eat a little bit more restricted and then lose that extra weight. If I continued on the weight gain trajectory, eventually it would become a problem. So today I have been doing fairly well, a few extra potato chips, but nothing major. Yesterday, I decided to postpone what I am doing today, I am the usual chef of the house and had made some buckwheat blueberry pancakes, hadn’t had those in quite some time, so I enjoyed a stack as well. A couple of days before I had whipped up some spaghetti and before that it was some pesto, hamburger, noodle mix. Each of those times, no big deal, I’ll just ‘deal with it tomorrow’. Well the problem is tomorrow never comes if we don’t take a stand to say, ‘this is what I am going to accomplish, I am no longer going to put it off’. Unfortunately just how many people who are unsaved postpone Salvation? How many people who are Saved continue in lukewarm rebellion towards Christ, essentially unable to effectively preach Christ to a lost and dying world, due to their carnality? Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Daniel 12:4 In particular, this is probably one of the bit more difficult topics to write about. Transhumanism is certainly not something that I had kept up with and certainly not something I would continuously follow, but this is an issue that must be addressed and looked at in relation to God’s Word the Bible, so that the light of His truth might shine upon these things that are quickly happening behind the scenes with very powerful individuals in charge, rich and trying to often achieve their own immorality, invincibility and eternal life, apart and separate from their Creator. So for the purpose of this article, let’s define transhumanism as abilities given to mankind that are far superior than what God had designed, as well as the attempt to create a body to replace this one that God has designed to only walk on this earth for so long (Hebrews 9:27), as well as a way that man is devising to think to take their spirit and soul, uploading it for all eternity, as if these things are contained in the brain (memories, knowledge, etc.) (Genesis 2:7, 9:4; Leviticus 17:11). To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, without sin, unto salvation.” Hebrews 9:27-28 “Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later.” 1st Timothy 5:24 There is a lot coming together, as far as understanding, from a biblical perspective, how to convey the obvious dangerous trap that the world is going head first into. To be honest, it is almost unbelievable the sneakiness of those who help to manipulate society to literally allow a prison to be put up around them, both virtual and physical. I have been asking God for wisdom to understand this, as well as how properly put this information out there, for whoever it might be that would consider their ways, repent towards God and by faith believe into Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Acts 20:21), before they are left behind (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 4:1). If time remains and it is in the Lord’s will, then this material will be produced. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.” Genesis 19:14 Imagine that you are driving in a rural portion of the United States, perhaps near Cut Bank, Montana. There you see a car in the distance, a mile or so ahead on the road. You are slowly gaining on the vehicle and as the car is in your sight, suddenly it just disappears! You look over at your passenger, to ask if they just saw where that car went, but they weren’t paying attention. Perhaps, if you are like me, you have actually heard some stories of bridges out and someone trying to warn people as car after car goes over the edge. Now you are watching the road carefully, ready for whatever may be up ahead (Matthew 24:42-44) and you start to cautiously slow down, taking heed (Matthew 24:4), as a bridge comes into view… For most, this is going to be a situation that will never happen.
