Knowledge Shall Be Increased

“And at that time, Michael shall stand up, the great ruler who stands for the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of distress, such as has not been since there was a nation until that time. And at that time, your people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the Book.  And many of those sleeping in the earth’s dust shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproach and everlasting abhorrence.  And the prudent shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness, as the stars forever and ever.  But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, to the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”  Daniel 12:1-4

It is apparent that knowledge has been increased.  As I write this article, just over a month shy of 40 years old, I have seen numerous changes in my lifetime.

This article is typed using software that will alert me to misspelled words, it’s older software that I choose to use.  Then I will take this article and I will post it up on the world wide web, a term that is barely used outside of geek squads nowadays.  This will be posted on a website that was designed using software, hosted on a computer overseas.  Afterwards the link to the article will make its way to three separate social media websites, finally it will be emailed to those who have subscribed to have these articles emailed to them.  Then, as is usually the case, a radio show will be recorded using software and a semi-pro microphone, specifically for webcasting.

Afterwards the audio clip saved to the computer will be uploaded to where there is a subscription for hosting webcasts.  Finally it will be made available to whomever might listen to it now or in the future.  If one were to ponder the extent of ease of making information readily available, it would be immediately seen just how much knowledge has increased.  Yes, with that increase there is a seemingly jungle of too much information, too many things, out there.

Of course there are autonomous vehicles, buses and trucks.  Commercial jets have the capability to land themselves, medical science has made leaps and bounds, just to name a couple of more things.  Now the latest military weapons of some countries are hypersonic missiles and jets.  Quite honestly a very large and extensive list could be made of the increase of knowledge regarding these awesome technological advances.  Yet where I ask is the increase of knowledge regarding the things of God?  The Bible has a yet to be fulfilled prophecy regarding that also.

“Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord Jehovah, that I will send a famine into the land, not a famine for bread, nor a thirst for water, but rather a famine for hearing the Words of Jehovah.  And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east; they shall roam to and fro to seek the Word of Jehovah, and they shall not find it.”  Amos 8:11-12

I’m old fashioned in regards to having a preference of actual printed books, reference books to complete whatever task has been laid on my heart for All Will Stand.  Even though I have a printed dated edition of Strongs, as well as other resources, even I have a browser open as I write this article, to quickly pull up verses.  All I have to do is know a couple of words of the verse and I can usually find it in a few seconds, much quicker than the old Strongs that is used less and less.

That particular prophecy has always amazed me at how choke full of information is really there.  Think about it, imagine not being able to find God’s Word, the Holy Scriptures!  Sure right now there are many bad copies of translations everywhere, truly a shame, but even Walmart still sells the King James Version here in Kalispell, Montana.  There is a link on the website to an online KJV.  You can order one on a thousand different websites, you can go to the library, you can go to your neighbors, you can get one for free at our local Salvation Army.  Imagine not being able to find a copy of the Bible!

Imagine the world seeking after the things of God!  Is that not contrary to what we see going on in today’s societies of the world?  People during that time, during the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jer. 30:7), will actually be roaming to and fro to seek the Word of Jehovah!  Talk about censorship during the Antichrist reign!  Obviously if one considers the martyrs that are killed for proclaiming Christ during the Tribulation period, then you can seemingly understand the same spirit that is likely behind the absence of trying to seek the things of God.  It is all anti-Christian, truly a terrible time for those dwelling on the earth.

“And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the Word of God and because of the testimony which they held.  And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?  And a white robe was given to each one of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who were about to be killed as they were, was filled up.”  Revelation 6:9-11

As knowledge has increased, so also has the violence in this world.  In my old neighborhood, just outside of Chicago, violence has become much more common.  The street signs are covered with tagging and the last time I was in that neighborhood, one block away from where we used to live, there was drug dealing on the corner in broad daylight.  Another spot that my family used to enjoy was Oklahoma City.

The last time we were there, same thing, there was drug dealing and hookers on the street corners during broad daylight, that being a city that we had known fairly well years prior.  Even in Montana, where often we are what appears to be behind in the times, in terms of the latest technology, trends, etc., violence is becoming more common place.  One can no longer safely leave a bicycle unlocked and expect it to be where they left it.  Once again these violent times that not only the United States is suffering from, are prophesied.

“But evil men and pretenders will grow worse and worse, leading astray and being led astray.”  2nd Timothy 3:13

“And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:  They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.  Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.  Even in the same way will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.  In that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not return back.  Remember Lot‘s wife.  Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.  I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left.  Two will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left.  Two will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.  And they answered and said to Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”  Luke 17:26-37

“And Jehovah saw that the evil of man was great on the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all day long.”  Genesis 6:5

I’m well aware of the non-ending violence in South Africa, the horrific violence in Mexico, the increase of violence in Australia, as well as other parts of the world.  You think that it is bad now?  Well, let me tell you to understand clearly that those who are Left Behind, because their name is not written in the Book of Life (Rev. 20:15), at the Rapture, the violence that one sees now would be considered safety.  Imagine what happens when the Holy Spirit who restrains is removed from this world?!  If people just stab or shot people for now no reason, aside from wanting to kill someone, then what will they do when God’s restraint is allowed to be removed?!

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He is now restraining, until it is raised from out of the midst.  And then the lawless one will be unveiled, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.  The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.  But we owe thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you through our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  2nd Thessalonians 2:7-14

Yes we are certainly living in interesting times, but also very dangerous times.  As we see such prophecies being fulfilled before our very eyes, we must remember those prophecies that were already fulfilled, numerous ones regarding Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior.  We must remember and look at this greatness of what God has already declared and how it has already come to pass and must remember what God declares will with absolute certainly come to pass EXACTLY as He has declared.

“Remember the former things from a long time ago; for I am the Mighty God, and there is no other; I am God, and no one else is like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from antiquity things which are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure; calling a bird of prey from the east, the man who executes my counsel from a distant land. Indeed, I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have formed it; I will also do it.”  Isaiah 46:9-11

“The counsel of Jehovah stands forever, the thoughts of His heart from generation to generation.”  Psalms 33:11

“And all those living in the earth are counted as nothing. And He does according to His will in the army of Heaven, and among those living in the earth. And no one is able to restrain His hand or say to Him, What are You doing?”  Daniel 4:35

We must consider these things and be diligent as Christians to let those who will listen know that all must repent and by faith believe into Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  We must remind the world and tell the world about the Gospel and about Salvation that is in no other name than Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).  We must warn those who are sitting on the fence regarding making such a decision and answer those who have questions.  Now is certainly the time.

“For He says: In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”  2nd Corinthians 6:2

“And he said to me, Do not seal the Words of the Prophecy of this Book, for the time is at hand.  He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.  And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to what his work shall be.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, the First and the Last.  Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the Tree of Life, and may enter through the gates into the city.  But outside are dogs and sorcerers and prostitutes and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and produces a lie.”  Revelation 22:10-15

For those of who ponder these things or postpone for whatever reason, understand that eventually it will be too late.  Yes, if you have read such articles as these or heard such radio shows, you know that this is often times repeated.  What will you do when you don’t have to put up with such articles anymore?  When you don’t have to listen to such things anymore?  Knowing that if you did not receive Christ as your Savior, you will have been Left Behind.  Of course, one would simply mention the fact that there is no guarantee that one would live until tomorrow anyway.  Yet take a clear look at the beginning passage of scripture to this article.  Where will you awake?

“For thus says Jehovah who Created the heavens, God who has formed the earth and made it; who has established it, who has not created it void, but has formed it to be inhabited: I am Jehovah, and there is no other.  I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth. I did not say to the seed of Jacob, Seek me in vain. I, Jehovah, speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.  Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you who have escaped from the nations. Those who set up the wood of their graven image, and those that pray to a god that cannot save, they know nothing.  Declare and approach; yea, let them take counsel together. Who has declared this from antiquity? Who has told it since then? Is it not I, Jehovah. And there is no other God besides Me; a just Mighty God and a Savior; there is no one besides Me.  Turn to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am the Mighty God, and there is no other.  I have sworn by Myself, the word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.”  Isaiah 45:18-23

Amen!
