As Little Children

“At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greater in the kingdom of Heaven?  And Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, Truly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of Heaven.  Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is greater in the kingdom of Heaven.”  Matthew 18:1-4   I awoke today with a thought of just how simple it should be for people to believe the Gospel.  Irregardless of what might be taught by the ‘professionals’ throughout the world, I wondered why no one questions the fact that the world is not yet overpopulated.    A quick Google search and I found that supposedly mankind is six million years old, the current evolved form of mankind (I guess that would be us) is around 200,000 years old, civilization as we know it is around 6,000 years old and the industrial revolution started in the 1800’s.  In and of itself that evolutionary statement of disbelief aligns itself with the Word of God in that the world is around 6,000 years old, so I agree with the civilization portion, any book would quickly verify the industrial revolution.  But according to mankind, the current form of humans is 200,000 years old, why isn’t the population of the world too many people?   In 2000 years, according to those who do such research, the population has went from somewhere between 170 – 400 million, increasing steadily to around 7.5 billion people today.  If mankind...

Enslavement

“The prophets who have been before me and before you of old prophesied against many lands and against great kingdoms; of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.  As for the prophet who prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then the prophet shall be known, that Jehovah has truly sent him.”  Jeremiah 28:8-9   “Jehovah stands up to plead His case, and stands up to judge the peoples.  Jehovah will enter into judgment with the elders of His people, and their rulers. For you have eaten up the vineyard, the plunder of the poor is in your houses.  What do you mean that you crush My people, and grind the faces of the poor? says the Lord Jehovah of Hosts.  Furthermore Jehovah says, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched out necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and make a tinkling with their feet; therefore Jehovah will attach scabs to the top of the head of the daughters of Zion; and Jehovah will lay bare their secret parts.  In that day the Lord will take away the beauty of their anklets, and their headbands, and their crescents of the moon, the pendants, and the bracelets, and the veils; the turbans, and the leg ornaments, and the sashes, and the perfume boxes, and the amulets; the rings and nose jewels;  the festal apparel and the outer garments; and the mantles, and the purses;  the mirrors and the fine linen; and the turbans and the veils.  And it shall be, instead of a smell of perfume,...

Diversity

Even in a rural state like Montana, recently there is an ongoing push to pass legislation that would further expand non discrimination policies against lesbians, gays and transgenders.  The argument behind passing such legislation is that it would “signal to businesses that Montana is open for business to corporations who value diversity and inclusion.”  This type of legislation has been tried several times before and likely it will fail again, only to be reintroduced and reintroduced until it is finally passed.   Hardly can a Believer be safe from such headlines entering our homes.  Most recently President Trump undid Obama’s transgender bathroom policy for public schools, making it a state issue instead of a federal issue.  This in turn caused the Supreme Court to drop the case that they were going to hear that could’ve had ramifications for those states that refuse to follow such nonsense.  While I sincerely wish that such things were not dinner table topics or being constantly pushed by the mainstream media and the deviants who are trying to hasten America’s immorality, there is a point to be made about diversity.   What does the Holy Scriptures say about God’s thoughts on diversity?  Surprisingly the answer is quite simple.   “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many entering in through it.  Because narrow is the gate and distressing is the way which leads unto life, and there are few who find it.  Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. ...
