You Must Actually Fail

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”  Hebrews 11:6   The problem with faith is that you must actually fail.  Too often when we run into obstacles where our faith is and will certainly be tested (1 Peter 1:7), we can easily come to the conclusion that we are wrong or our faith is in vain…in certain cases we can even think that that even the foundations are gone!  (Psalms 11:3)   “But the children of Israel committed a trespass regarding the devoted things, for Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the devoted things; so the anger of Jehovah burned against the children of Israel.  Now Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is next to Beth Aven, to the east of Bethel, and spoke to them, saying, Go up and spy out the land. And the men went up and spied out Ai.  And they returned to Joshua and said to him, Do not let all the people go up, but let about two or three thousand men go up and strike Ai. Do not make all the people toil there, for they are few.  So about three thousand men went up there from the people, but they fled before the men of Ai.  And the men of Ai struck down about thirty-six men, for they chased them from before the gate as far as Shebarim, and struck...

The Dead Stirred Up

“Sheol from below is excited over you, to meet you at your coming. It stirs up the dead for you, all the chief of the earth. It has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.  All of them shall speak and say to you, Are you also as weak as we?  Have you become like us?  Your arrogance is brought down to Sheol, and the noise of your lutes. The maggot is spread under you, and the worms cover you.  How you are fallen from the heavens, O shining one, son of the morning!  How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!  For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into the heavens, I will exalt my throne above the stars of the Mighty God; I will also sit on the mount of the appointed assembly, in the recesses of the north.  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.  Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the recesses of the Pit.  Those who see you shall stare at you and consider diligently, saying, Is this the man who made the earth to tremble; who shook kingdoms; who made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed its cities; who did not open the house for his prisoners?”  Isaiah 14:9-17   Now this is interesting indeed and something that very few people ever hear about.  Just a little more thought into the following verse:   “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil...

“I ain’t worried about it dawg.”

“The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”  Proverbs 1:7   I was out driving around one evening recently in the north side of Rapid City, South Dakota, heading into the downtown district.  I happened at a stop light where there was a man around my age, full of tattoos, mean looking dude, with his woman driving their car.   Their car was booming from the bass of the speakers, shaking the windows a bit and I took a glance over at this gangster who glared back at me, thinking to say something, one of those things were you feel the nudging of the heart from the Holy Spirit, but your not quite sure, but I take off, getting stopped at a light just a couple of blocks away.  They pull up next to me again.   This time I put my window down and look over.  He looks my way again and I say to him…   “It’s all fun and games, but what are you going to do in the end?”   He looks back and hollers, “I ain’t worried about it dawg.”   He started to say something else, if I could guess it was asking what I was going to do, but the light had turned green and the driver of this car turned left, while I was making a right.   Oh…my heart goes out to that man, that God would grant him the opportunity to continue to hear the Gospel, to consider, to perhaps repent towards God and by faith believe into Jesus Christ as His...

In Exchange for Nothing

“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”  Matthew 16:26   A preacher can write, preach, warn, rebuke, exhort often, but how many actually take heed to whatever is done honorable and according to the will of God regarding these things that mankind needs to know?  Certainly it can be discouraging.   Long before my first article ever written on All Will Stand, there were fiery conversations that were had at my local job.  We would debate back and forth about all sorts of topics from the girl who thought God was in everything, to the manager who thought that the charismatic movement was correct, as well as speaking in tongues, to the one who was Roman Catholic and believed that to be the right path to the atheist who said there was no God.    There were those who thought women preachers were allowed, some who thought that christian rock was the way to go.  Then there was the couple who actually got Saved while I was working there, believe it or not, as the closer (and eventually night manager) at a McDonald’s.  All of these conversations were had and each day, even with different viewpoints, we debated and both parties, myself and the other, would come in with their ‘evidence’ to present to the other trying to prove our cases.  While my arguments based upon the Bible might not have been accepted, there was not a single ‘lost’ argument, I had help, a good friend...

Disconnect

“And I will give to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.  These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth.  And if anyone tries to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone tries to harm them, he must be killed in this manner.  These have authority to shut the heavens, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have authority over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.  And when they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them.  And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.  And those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three and a half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be put into graves.  And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.  And after three and a half days the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet, and great terror fell on those who saw them.  And they heard a loud voice out of Heaven saying to them, Come up here. And...

Many Wounded

“For the love of money is a root of all evils, for which some being greedy, have strayed from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”  1st Timothy 6:10   “If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not unto death, he shall ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not unto death. There is sin unto death. I do not say that he should ask about that.  All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not unto death.”  1st John 5:16-17   “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord comes.   But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief comes, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be dug through.  Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man comes at an hour you do not expect.  Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made administrator over his household, to give them food in due season?  Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.  Truly, I say to you that he will appoint him as administrator over all his possessions.  But if that wicked servant says in his heart, My master delays his coming, and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not expecting him and in an hour he does not know, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the...

Reminders of Hollywood

“Therefore thus says Jehovah, Behold, I will drive you from off the face of the earth. You shall die this year, because you have taught rebellion against Jehovah.”  Jeremiah 28:16   “Do not be led astray: Evil company corrupts good character.”  1st Corinthians 15:33   “You shall not follow the majority in doing evil;”…  Exodus 23:2a The Bible talks about a coming time of God’s just justice coming to the world and to that which is called Babylon (Revelation 17 – 19).  Part of that entity includes the arts, which would therefore include Hollywood.  (Side Note: “They shall come upon you in their fullness for the multitude of your sorceries, and for the great power of your enchantments.”  Isaiah 47:9  This is also speaking of the same entity in Revelation 17 & 18. Now consider the ‘great power of your enchantments’ and ponder what has happened to our society.  This isn’t just the movies, but we must remember that when God’s Word states something, it is 100% accurate, absolute truth and in our minds we have the tendency to believe His Word, yet still harvest disbelief. Just as I believed when I was younger that evil communication would corrupt good manners, I added an * to that belief.  I thought that because I knew better and was smarter than that, that it did not apply to me.  No rather, let God be true (Romans 3:4) for it did matter and I was the one who was becoming corrupted.  So too, I have heard that the music industry, back when the now revived vinyl industry had it’s stronghold on American...

God’s Rewards Program

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to what his work shall be.”  Revelation 22:12   My hands have been busy doing much work recently.  While the following might sound strange and perhaps it is, over the years I have found myself understanding person after person in the Bible and having experienced similar things, gaining a deeper understanding of what is recorded for us in the Holy Scriptures regarding these people.  In this particular case, where I now have some additional understanding is with Solomon.   “I said in my heart, Come now, I will test you with mirth; therefore regard pleasure; and this was vanity.   I said of laughter, It is madness; and of mirth, What does it accomplish?   I sought in my heart to gratify my flesh with wine, while leading my heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, until I might find out what was good for the sons of men to do under the heavens all the days of their life.   I made my works great; I built houses for myself; I planted vineyards for myself.  I made gardens and orchards for myself, and I planted trees in them, of all kinds of fruit.  I made pools of water for myself, to water the forest springing up with trees.  I have bought slaves and maids, and had servants born in my house; I also had more livestock, herds and flocks, than all were before me in Jerusalem.  I also gathered silver and gold to myself, and the treasure of kings and of...

Natural Law – Space, Time, & Matter

Tidbit Number One: Earth’s Magnetic Field The surrounding scientific communities around the globe proclaim in our modern area that the earth is billions upon billions of years old by the development of random chance regarding their evolutionary belief. I have wanted to write some tidbits regarding “Natural Law” from a Christian perspective for a while. Something’s to consider for those who doubt the Creation Design vs. the Evolutionary Model. NASA States: Every 1,400 years, the earth’s magnetic field is weakening. NASA is thereby proclaiming that every 1,400 years, the earth’s magnetic field gets cut (weakened) by its 1/2 life. This scientific discovery should be eye-shocking to those who deny the creation story. Mathematically speaking, the earth is therefore “NOT” able to be billions of years old.  Logical Reasoning: Based on the current studies of the earth’s magnetic field, if we went back to King David’s period of biblical ancient history (Estimated – 2,800 years), the earth’s atmosphere regarding the magnetic field would be 4x more substantial. If we also returned to the biblically recorded timing of Noha’s flood, the magnetic field would be 8x more significant.  If the earth were billions of years old, based on evolutionists’ false, unscientific claims, it would have heated up so much that it would have destroyed the entire planet. Why? Answer: If the earth’s atmosphere were billions of years old, the magnetic field would have been so strong that the scientific reality would have heated the world so much (Estimated – 25,000 years) that the earth would have been naturally destroyed based on mathematics. So remember, based on what NASA tells us, the earth’s life,...

Authentic Biblical Salvation – Part 7

As you dear readers can see in the Web Word Illustration – Part One (Previous Article Part 6: Click Here) graphical chart, “SIN” became genetically coded within the blood of tainted humanity. This “SIN” created a separation from God since He is Holy. This natural global order of God’s created utopia of all living creatures on earth was now tainted. Humanity only had one straightforward rule, and that ordained elementary rule was to “NOT” eat of the tree of knowledge between good & evil (Genesis 2:17). You see, dear readers, the Serpent (The Devil & demons) – fell from grace, now fallen the Devil declared a declaration of war against the Almighty Creator. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Luke 10:18. That is why the Holy Scriptures inform us of this reality when God cast Lucifer down to the earth. Lucifer sought revenge by seeing if humanity would follow in his footsteps. He used stealth and manipulating lies to get Eve & Adam to sin, thus cursing God’s global order. Thereby the “Big N” of the Natural law and order was overturned, and Lucifer has been thriving to create his anti-thesis order controlled under his throne since that horrific moment in human history. This moment in the Garden of Eden is why we have had death & turmoil ever since. All wars from ancient periods to modern-days, including the advancement of weapons of mass destruction (nukes/vacuum bombs/etc.), are all related to the false god of this world, Lucifer. When we see children dying of cancer or massive starvation, as we witness in...

Biblical Principles of Finances – Tithing

“For if something is presented eagerly, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.”  2nd Corinthians 8:12   The Great Commission commanded by Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20) is a very expensive endeavor that has been going one for nearly 2,000 years.  This is part of God’s plan for those who have been Saved, for those who have repented towards God and by faith believed into Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (Acts 20:21) to be a part of, in one form or another.   The question arises how much should a Christian give, to whom or what should the money go towards and must they give 10% of their income or not?  These questions are going to be addressed, noting that much of this is a heart issue of an individual before the Lord, yet the Bible provides clear guidance and direction, as well as examples on tithing.   What sort of example do the members and attendees of a Church set when they allow their building, one set aside for God, to go into disrepair, also allowing a pastor to go without any sort of salary or a salary that would not sustain even a modest form of living?  Further said, what about foreign missions funding, money for the distribution of tracts or Bibles, money to support biblical evangelical work or the numerous other things that can/could be done in a fashion that is honoring to God Almighty, as those who proclaim to walk in ‘newness of life’ (Romans 6:4) with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior?...

Divide & Conquer

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”  Matthew 24:12   “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unyielding, slanderers, without self-control, savage, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away.”  2nd Timothy 3:1-5   Understand as this study begins that this is not speaking of everyone, note that the Bible says ‘many’ not all.    There is a disease that started in this country some time ago.  I’ve spoken about it in the past, but the other day after hearing of some more problems, I thought about the horror of the way many people mistreat each other and was considering God’s Word, pondered a different angle, one that has to deal with end times events.   In a nutshell, most people should be able to understand that the love of many is already growing cold and this seems to be continuing to get worse as time goes on.  There is also a lot of unnatural affection, my mind always goes to the type of affection found via social media with a quick like, comment or emoji, but with no real substance many times.  In this there is affection and it is not traditional, therefore, can it be natural?   I had seen a study a few years back that young people, despite all of the technology and...

All are not Welcome There

“But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or produces an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”  Revelation 21:27   “There is a way which seems right to a man, but the end of it is the ways of death.”  Proverbs 14:12   Now there is a lot of going back and forth battles in this country and around the world that are being fought on the basis of what is called traditional conservative values verses liberalism.  However, as we will see, our opinions in all reality matter nothing compared to what our Creator has declared to be the actual Truth of the matter.   What we are seeing is the fulfilling of the prophecy regarding the whole world being led astray by Satan (Revelation 12:9), a war that is truly being fought against Almighty God, one that the world will lose (Revelation 19:11-21).   Just how much time will I spend debating these issues that are already judged?  How much time should anyone spend online going back and forth with tweets and comments throughout the internet, ‘fighting’ ideas.  At what point do we just stand on the firm foundation of the Bible (2 Timothy 2:19) doing His great work, ensuring that our families are properly taught the Word of God, that our children are raised in the Lord, that we participate in spreading the Gospel, that we are active in our local churches, ensuring that they are pleasing to God, as they belong to Christ?   If we were to spend countless hours debating nonsense,...

An Emergency

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of Heaven, but My Father only.  But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and did not realize until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.  Then two will be in the field: one is taken and the other is left.  Two will be grinding at the mill: one is taken and the other is left.  Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord comes. But if that wicked servant says in his heart, My master delays his coming, and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a...
